In this post, I will describe all basic
terms related to mobile processors or phone processors. It has been seen
that there are many doubts regarding them while purchasing a new phone.
So, here is the explanation of mobile processors.
What is Dual-core, Quad-core, Octa-core?
Phone processor explained/Mobile processor explained-

What is ARM Cortex A-53, A-55, A-75, A-76, etc. ?
Basically, ARM is a company that
provides the architectural design to various processor manufacturing
companies like Qualcomm, Mediatek to make processors and these
architectures are named as Cortex A-53, A-76, etc.
In general, the higher the number better is architectural design.

What is Dual-core, Quad-core, Octa-core?
Cores are the measurement of work to be
carried out by the processors. If it is Dual core then it can perform
two tasks simultaneously, if it is quad core then it can perform four
tasks simultaneously and similarly octa-core can perform eight tasks simultaneously.
What is 2.1 GHz, 1.8 GHz, etc. ?
If a processor is clocked at 'X' GHz
then that processor can perform X billion tasks in one second. So, 2.1
GHz processor can do 2.1 billions of tasks in one second.
What is 10 nm, 14 nm, 7 nm?
nm stands for nanometre. If a processor
is 7 nm then the transistor involved in making that processor is of size
7 nm. Similarly, the 14 nm processor has transistors of size 14 nm.
So, the processor will be better if it is better in all four aspects.
