PUBG Mobile v0.16.0: 5 features which are inspired by Call of Duty

PUBG Mobile v0.16.0: In the last two updates and leaked features, it looks like the company is introducing several new features.  Adding new features is nothing new but some of these features are heavily inspired by Call of Duty Mobile.  Check out 5 such features.

One of the most popular Battle Royale games, PUBG dominates the mobile market, especially in the mobile gaming segment.  However, after a long, controversial reign at the top, Call of Duty Mobile has emerged as a worthy competitor.  An interesting part of this competition is that both games were developed by Tencent Games.  In the first report, players downloaded Call of Duty Mobile approximately 148 million times in the first month.  This is more than combined downloads for PUBG Mobile and Fortnite.  On further digging, players have downloaded Fortnite 35 million times and Pubg Mobile 60.7 million times.

A significant number of Call of Duty Mobile players who have started playing the game.  In the first month of the game.  $52.9 million in revenue.  In contrast, PUBG Mobile made $3.5 million in the first month alone.  In fact, Tencent Games and Timi Studios have improved Battle Royale's formula.  PUBG Corporation, the company behind PUBG Mobile, seems to have noticed user feedback.

In the last two updates and leaked features, it looks like the company is introducing several new features.  Adding new features is nothing new but some of these features are heavily inspired by Call of Duty Mobile.  These upgrades seem natural to most PUBG players.  When reviewing the PUBG Mobile 0.16.0 update, we can identify two features taken from the Call of Duty.  Take a look at five features PUBG has set to add to the game from Call of Duty Mobile.

5 Call of Duty Mobile features are coming to PUBG Mobile:

Healing while moving:

The main "feature" taken by PUBG from Call of Duty Mobile is the healing or application of band-aids while on the move.  Previously, PUBG and PUBG mobile players had to heal themselves.  Any movement stops the healing process.  Call of Duty Mobile came with this feature from the first day and it basically made it a different game.  Players can sprint when running away from enemies and have a higher chance of survival.  PUBG Corporation introduced this feature in the latest 0.16.0 update.

The grappling hook:

According to a recent report, the company is expected to add the Grappling Hook feature to the game.  This makes it difficult for players to climb the canyons or reach mountains or other terrain.  They need to shoot to the highest point of the grappling hook structure and the hook pushes them up.  This feature is available as a special item in Battle Royale on Call of Duty Mobile.

Drones:

PUBG is also looking to add drones to the game.  Like the grappling hook, it is available as a special skill in Battle Royale mode.  However, the Call of Duty Mobile has two different drones, including the Hunter Killer Drone and the General Drone.  The Hunter Killer Drone is an automatic drone that, when activated, can automatically find enemies and then plunge and explode toward them.  The second drone battle is a regular in Royal mode.  Here, it automatically follows the player while keeping track of the surroundings.  It will automatically detect enemies, sounding an alarm indicating the direction of the target.

In addition, Battle Royale drones also perform automatic interference, which interferes with the enemy player's UI.  This intervention is enough for the player to identify enemies and finish them off.  On the other hand, PUBG is expected to provide drones with more intelligence and tactical equipment than active help in the game.

Shield:

The fourth item on this list is called a deployment-efficient shield, which will soon be coming to PUBG.  Like drones, and hooks, Shield is also an expert skill.  It is important to note that players must choose an expert skill before the Battle Royale game begins.  Shield shoots a flash grenade at enemies around him while creating a temporary armored shid in front of the player.  It is useful to stay open while providing some cover for players.  Gameplay footage of this item was leaked several days ago.

For Single player and team mode Dedicated button

Last but not least, let's talk about a more minor addition in the form of a UI button.  In Battle Royale, Call of Duty Mobile was the first which added a dedicated button to switch between team mode or single-player.  PUBG was inspired to toggle between modes in the latest PUBG Mobile 0.16.0 update and added a similar button.
