Introduction of iOS : 

iOS is Apple’s mobile operating system that runs the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices. iOS versions utilizes a multi-touch interface where simple features an

d functionalities are used to operate the device by swiping the fingers across the screen to move pages or pinching the fingers to zoom out images.

ios is an operating system created by Apple. Runs across all apple devices. ios uses a Multitouch interface in which devices operate using simple gesture. ios controls the hardware of the apple devices as well as handles the functions of the software.

History of iOS : 

When iOS was introduced, it was named iPhone OS. It was officially renamed iOS on June 7, 2010, with the announcement and introduction of iPad. The introduction of iPad, and the existence of iPod Touch, meant the iPhone was no longer the only device to run the mobile operating system.

Apple launched iOS—then called iPhone OS—on June 29, 2007, with the very first iPhone. Since then, the mobile operating system has gone through some major upgrades. But it didn’t happen overnight. Ever year in the summer, Apple has reinvented the OS, adding new features and redefining what’s possible on all its iDevices.

In the five-plus years since then, the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch have literally redefined the entire world of mobile computing. That world is moving so quickly that iOS is already amongst the older mobile operating systems in active development today. That certainly doesn't mean it's underpowered or underfeatured — quite the contrary. Through what can only be described as relentless and consistent improvement over the years, Apple has made iOS one of the most feature-rich and well-supported platforms on the market.

History of iOS Store : 

The ios app store was opened on July 10, 2008 with 500 applications initially but from 2008 to 2017 the number of applications has increased to 2.2 Million and all these applications have been collectively downloaded 130 billion times.

Advantages of iOS : 

     

The main hardware platform for iOS is the ARM architecture. iOS releases before iOS 7 can only be run on iOS devices with 32-bit ARM processors (ARMv6 and ARMv7-A architectures)

The apple brings a new version of ios every year. Currently the latest version of ios is 13.1. The main hardware for ios is ARM Architecture. When Apple adds new features to ios, all Apple  devices receive a software update notification.

ios is very different from other operating systems because it keeps the application inside the protective cell as much as in its Devices so that the application is away from each other. ios has been designed in such a way that even if a virus has gone wrong in the device by application, it does not hurt another application. If we send a news link in WhatsApp, then it opens in any browser, this feature is not in ios but it uses a different feature and this feature wants user attachment to connect one application to another application.
